Modagogy is a small project of a site meant to help improve online community moderation by providing thoughts, advice, and resources on the philosophy and methodology behind online moderation. This is not the definitive guide on how to moderate online communities, but I hope it can help others by informing on successful strategies and common pitfalls that many online communities have seen.

The Mod Behind Modagogy

Ozycaevias is the creator behind Modagogy. With 12 years of online moderation experience across a variety of platforms (web forums, game servers, IRC, Discord, etc.), Ozy has often found himself in the role of driving online moderation policy and strategy.

He was the founder and first administrator for the World Showcase worldbuilding and artistic community on Discord. His history also includes: the Templin Institute Discord, IIWiki.us wiki and Discord, Advanced Kind Minecraft Server, and the Ajax roleplaying community, among other communities.
